Stevie lopez

Stephen is a versatile actor with over 18 years experience in film, television and theatre.

On stage, Stephen originated the role of Usnavi in the Australian premiere of In The Heightsin Melbourne, as well as appearances in productions of Cafe RebetikaOklahoma!and West Side Story.

His film credits include Pirates of the Caribbean 5 where he worked alongside Johnny Depp & Javier Bardem, as well as the Australian drama Tom White.

Stephen’s notable TV appearances include Underbelly, Fat Tony & Co, City Homicide, Kick, Neighbours & Here Come The Habibs. 

He is thrilled to be joining Blue Saint’s production ofIn The Heights!

Olivia Vasquez

Olivia Vasquez is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Music. Since graduating, Olivia has been featured in two Squabbalogic productions and made her musical theatre debut in the Australian premiere of The Bodyguard playing Monique and understudying principal role Nicki Marron. 

She went on to A Little Triangle’s production of A Little Cabaret and is also part of the premiere production of Gone Too Soon with Mama Montez Productions. Olivia most recently starred in Blue Saint Production’s sell-out and critically acclaimed season of In The Heights at Hayes Theatre. Olivia is thrilled to be back reprising her role as Vanessa and to be making her Sydney Opera House debut.

Joe kalou

Joe is most well known to audiences as a member of the recent cast of Hi-5 having toured internationally with them for the past 2 years. With Hi-5 he has performed on Channel 9's Carols by Candlelight for the past two years as well as appearing on Season 17 of the Channel 9 Hi-5 TV series.

Previously he toured for many years as a vocalist, guitarist and flautist in The Rock Show with Jon English, Rock Show More and Rock Revolution.

Joe will soon be seen as Jesus in Packemin Productions' Jesus Christ Superstar at Parramatta Riverside Theatre in February 2019. 



Luisa Scrofani

Luisa is a graduate of SHOWFIT, training in musical theatre performance at Centerstage Performing Arts School.

Luisa made her professional debut in 2015, in the Sydney Theatre Award-winning Violet (Blue Saint Productions) playing Young Violet. 

Other credits include new Australian work Motormouth Loves Suck-face: An Apocalyptic Musical (Ant Crowley Creates), Let It Be: The Songs of Lennon & McCartney (Flourish Productions), Spring Awakening (StageArt) and Sonder: A Charity Concert, supporting Beyond Blue.

Luisa most recently performed in the Australian premiere of Fugitive Songs (Sonder Theatre Co.).

She is thrilled to be returning to the barrio to reprise her role of Nina Rosario in In The Heights!



Marty Alix

Marty graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Theatre at the Victorian College of the Arts and also studied at the Atlantic Acting School, New York sponsored by The Ron and Margaret Dobell foundation. 

VCA highlights include General Douglas Haig in Oh, What a Lovely War, Mate!, Paul in Company, and Man in Chair in The Drowsy Chaperone.

Professional credits include La Cienega in Bring It On (Stage Masters)and Angel in Rent(Chapel Off Chapel) as well as playing Sonny in the Sydney premiere of In The Heights (Hayes Co/ Blue Saint Productions). Represented by IWM.



Monique Montez

Multi-award winning vocalist Monique Montez has performed in many facets of the entertainment industry. From musical theatre and cabaret to television and the corporate world, her diverse career spans over 24 years.

She has performed lead roles in shows such as Saturday Night Fever, We Will Rock You, Dusty, Fiddler on the Roof & Hidden Palace. As a cabaret artiste Monique has supported stars such as Hollywood legend Mickey Rooney, Michael Feinstein, Taylor Dane, The Drifters & Sneaky Sound System to name a few.

Television credits include All Saints, ABC’S Wild Side, Good Morning Australia, Fresh, The Footy Show, Mornings with Kerri-Anne, Carols in the Domain and Foxtel's Channel V.

Launching her production company Mama Montez Productions in 2013, she has produced, starred and toured her own shows Damn Good Divas, Liza meets Bassey & Queens of Rock n Soul.

Most recently, Monique premiered her latest work The REAL Thing at the 2017 Sydney Fringe Festival. This confronting autobiographical cabaret garnered rave reviews and is set to return later this year.

Monique is thrilled to return to the world of musical theatre with In the Heights, and cherishes the opportunity to play the fabulously feisty and funny ‘Daniela'.



Libby Asciak

Hailing from Melbourne, Libby moved to Sydney to study at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). She received a Robertson Family Trust scholarship and graduated with a Diploma in Music Theatre. After graduating from NIDA Libby moved to Perth to study at Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) graduating with a Bachelor in Musical Theatre in 2013. Whilst at WAAPA notable credits include Wendla in Spring Awakening, Little Ti Moune in Once on This IslandThoroughly Modern Millie and Assassins

Since graduating Libby’s stage credits include Heather Duke in Heathers (Hayes Theatre Company/QPAC/Showwork), Monique/Kate/Joe in The Incredible Here and Now (National Theatre of Parramatta) and Carla in In The Heights (Hayes Theatre Company/Blue Saint Productions).

Libby’s screen credits include Rachel Rossi in The Secret Daughter (Screentime/Seven Network), Alisha in Here Come The Habibs! (Nine Network) and Neighbours (Fremantle Media/Network 10).



Alexander Palacio

Alexander Palacio was born in Colombia (South America) and has been living in Australia for the past 12 years. He is a well known actor with vast experience in television, film and theatre. He is the co-founder of a theatre company based in Sydney where he has directed and acted numerous plays and artistic projects, obtaining recognition from both Australian and Hispanic audiences and giving him enough merits to get the permanent residence in Australia under the Distinguished Talentscheme.



Ana Maria Belo

Ana Maria graduated from NIDA in 1998. She then went on to carve an eclectic performing career. Starting with musical theatre, she toured Australia starring in hit musicals such as Fameand Hair. She was nominated for a Green Room award for her portrayal of Jeanie in Hair in 2003. Other theatre credits include Sarah in The Listmaker for Bell Shakespeare Company; Noises Off for Ensemble Theatre Company playing Brooke/Vicki; Connie in Dr Akar’s Women for Griffin Theatre Company; Fantail in Company B’s production of Snugglepot & Cuddlepie, and Annelle in the acclaimed Australian tour of Steel Magnolias. Ana Maria returned to NIDA to perform in Angus Wilkinson’s graduating director’s piece In a Pink Tutu. Ana Maria also led the Babies Proms Space Symphony at the Sydney Opera House. She had audiences in stitches in the world premiere of Fawlty Towers Live, which toured Australia.  Ana Maria made her return to the world of musical theatre as Camila in Blue Saint Productions’ sell-out season of In the Heights.

Ana Maria won a Glug award and was nominated for a Sydney Theatre award for her performance in Tribes for the Ensemble Theatre 2016 season.  

Ana Maria is hard of hearing and a proud ambassador for The Shepherd Centre. 



Margi de Ferranti

Margi De Ferranti is a veteran of the stage, a true triple threat, known as a power house vocalist in the entertainment industry, who has worked on many productions across Film, TV, Theatre and live performance.

Stage credits include the role as Fatine in Les Miserables, Miss Bell in Fame the Musical, Donna in Mamma Mia! and Rizzo in Grease to name a few. De Ferranti has also worked with some of the greats, including Glenn Close and Harry Connick Jr in the film version of South Pacific. And, if that's not enough, Margi De Ferranti has been nominated for a Sydney Theatre Critic Award, Mo Award and was once a winner of the Inaugural Sydney cabaret convention.

Richard Valdez

Richard Valdez left his native Peru at 19, relocating to Santiago, Chile, where he built up a career as a full time singer and musician. 12 years later in 2009, he arrived in Sydney where he quickly gained a reputation around the latin music scene and for the past 7 years has been singing in a variety of formats from his one man show to 15 piece 1950s mambo big band. 

Richard has honed his dynamic and engaging solo shows accompanying himself on the guitar and performing popular latin standards; romantic ballads and fiery dance favourites. 

As well as his solo act, he is currently lead singer for his trio Oriente Tres (this time playing piano), salsa bands El Orqueston and Malo Malo, latin soul outfit, Barrio Soul and mambo big band Mucho Mambo. 

His role as “Piragua Guy” in the Broadway hit, In The Heights, was his first foray into the world of music theatre and was a huge success in Sydney in 2018. 

Richard has just finished the filming of brand new Channel 7 TV show, “All Together Now” where he appeared as one of the judges, known as “The 100”, which will go to air around October 2018. 




Stephen Tannos

Stephen is one of the most innovative performers and creative minds in Australia. He has made a name for himself in Musical Theatre with roles in Cats(Really Useful Company) and Fame - The Musical(Gordon Frost Organisation) as well as Opera Australia’s 'Carmen'.

Stephen has performed with Artists including Ricky Martin and Jess Mauboy and was part of the Top 20 dancers on the first season of So You Think You Can Dance Australia.  As a choreographerStephen’s work has featured on So You Think You Can Dance Australia andThe Voice AUas well as on stage for The Dream Dance Company’s Genesis, which he also co-directed.

Stephen has appeared in various television-advertising campaigns with a memorable comedic lead role in 2017 for ‘Carlton Draught’.

Stephen is thrilled to once again flex his ‘triple threat’ muscles to play the role of ‘Graffiti Pete’ after the successful season of In The Heights earlier in 2018 at the Hayes Theatre.



Will Centurion

Will Centurion studied acting at NIDA on Village Roadshow scholarship and trained in dance at Brent Street and DanceWorld 301. He is an accomplished music theatre performer with a career spanning 20 years. 

His International and Australian theatre credits as a creative include Resident Choreographer (We Will Rock You, Zurich), Assistant Dance Captain (Disney's Aida, Germany), Dance Captain (The King and I, Australia). His credits as a performer include Double J (Saturday Night Fever, European tour), U/s Bernardo & Chino (West Side Story, Australia), Al DeLuca (A Chorus Line, Australia) Taji (King Kong Live on Stage, Australia), Banzai (The Lion King, Australia) and U/s Kassim & Sultan (Aladdin, Australia). 

His South American background has also led to him being a proficient Argentine tango and Salsa dancer/choreographer. Will is excited to be involved with In The Heights again and dedicates his final theatrical engagement to his family, partner and all those who helped along the way.



Michelle Rozario

At an early age, Michelle began her training at Ashfield Ballet School, the Queensland Ballet Junior Extension Program and Raw Dance Company in Brisbane. At the age of 16, Michelle began her professional dance career with Raw Dance Company, touring both Australia and South America.

In 2011, Michelle moved to Sydney to study performing arts with ED5 International under the guidance of William Forsythe. Since the completion of her studies, she has worked as a dancer with HANDA’s Opera on Sydney Harbour in La Traviata, and performed live with pop group Sneaky Sound System. Michelle has also completed a 14-month contract performing at Universal Studios Singapore.

The King and I marked Michelle’s musical theatre debut, and she is thrilled to now be joining the cast of In The Heights for the team at Blue Saint Productions. She would like to thank her family, friends, and Grayboy The Agency for their encouragement and support.



Samantha Bruzzese

Samantha graduated from Brent Street Performing Arts with a Diploma in Music Theatre in 2013. Musical Theatre credits include, Nautica in BRING IT ON (Stage Masters), The Bodyguard (GFO), In The Heights (Blue Saint Productions), Margerita in West Side Story (The Production Company), Reefer Madness (RL Productions) & In The Heights (StageArt). Sam has performed as back-up vocalist for Danni Minogue, with Cosentino The Illusionist, has featured on Dancing with the Stars, Australia's Got Talent and X-Factor as back up dancer for the likes of Aston Merrygold & Justin Bieber. Sammy B thanks her family & mentors for their constant love.

Dayton Tavares

A prodigy in the business, Dayton performed his first lead role as a child in the musical Billy Elliot and was invited to join the cast on Broadway as Billy Elliot. Whilst in the USA, he performed at the White House for Michelle Obama and sang the American National Anthem at an NFL game.

As an adult Dayton’s stage credits include Opera Australia’s critically acclaimed Carmen, choreographed by Kelley Abbey, Sydney Symphony Orchestra’s A Night at the Speakeasy concerts and The Dream Dance Company’s GenesisThe Secret Society and Enter the Vortex.  

Dayton has worked with Artists such as Ricky Martin, Kelly Rowland and the Black Eyed Peas and performed on The Voice AU and X -Factor Australia as well as starring in television campaigns for Toyota and Taco Now.

Romina Villafranca

Romina is one of Australia’s most accomplished and sought-after performers. 

Her credits include Singin’ in the RainStrictly Ballroom (Liz Holt and Vanessa Cronin covers), Cats Korea, Brigadoon,the world premieres of King Kong Live on Stage and Moonshadow, Australian premiere of Wicked, GFO’s Into the Woods concert, Oliver, Les Miserables and Swan Lake with the Australian Ballet. 

On screen Romina can be seen in George Miller’s Happy Feet 2 and Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby
